Sheridan County Emergency Management Coordinator Dave Coleman received some bad news Friday at the flood briefing by the National Weather Service in Billings. Coleman says that what he learned was inevitable with the sudden rise in temperatures.
Coleman stressed that those that live near creeks and streams need to keep a close eye on them throughout the weekend, as there's the possibility of water rising extremely fast from the runoff. Coleman stated that sandbags will be available for those that may need them over the weekend.
Coleman said that if anyone witnesses flooding they should report it by calling 911, and that if anyone has any flood related questions to call the Sheridan Police Dispatch Center at 672-2413.
