Despite several weeks of receding water levels, Glendo State Park is still operating with half of the normal number of campsites as usual. Gary Schoene with Wyoming State Parks says that many of the Park's campgrounds are still inaccessible.
State Park officials will attempt to open additional campsites as soon as possible, however, visitors can expect limited camp spaces for at least another month. Many of the flooded campsites will need to completely dry out before they can be repaired.
