Wyoming First Lady Carol Mead has teamed up with the Wyoming Department of Health and the Prevention Management Organization of Wyoming in an effort to prevent underage drinking.

First Lady Mead says that educating kids on the dangers of underage drinking can go along way in preventing them from taking that first drink.

Mead added that studies show that 23 percent of high school students had their first drink before the age of 13 and that 35 percent of middle school and high school respondents had used alcohol in the last 30 days.
