First Federal Chooses MoneyDesktop for Personal Banking

SHERIDAN, Wyo. – The Digital Journal reports that MoneyDesktop of Utah, a provider of personal financial management data analytics and marketing solutions, has been chosen by Sheridan's First Federal Savings Bank to provide its customers with online and mobile personal financial management tools.

The bank had previously used a large provider to offer the service. But, with $200 million in assets and two branches, the bank management found that the vendor and solution were too big for their needs. That's again, according to, the Digital Journal, which is a global digital media network that publishes online.

Cheri Balkenbush is the marketing officer with First Federal. She's quoted as saying that the bank knew they wanted their customers to have personal banking tools at their disposal, but working with a large company had left them with a mediocre product, sub-par customer service and high costs.

She said they found MoneyDesktop through their core provider and immediately saw the difference in the technology and customer service. MoneyDesktop now provides the bank's customers with easy-to-use account aggregation capabilities that show a snapshot of their personal finances and help develop achievable goals and better manage their financial life.
