UPDATE 12:08 p.m.
Sheridan Fire-Rescue received a call at roughly 7:45 Wednesday morning about a fire in the parking lot of the Sheridan Holiday Inn. Crews were on scene for 45 minutes, extinguishing the flames and cooling the equipment with foam.
Fire Marshall Brian Songer explains.
According to Songer, crews arrived to find equipment used to seal asphalt driveways heavily involved in fire. A kettle used to heat the sealing material and a sweeper were destroyed in the fire. A pickup used to pull the kettle was also damaged.
The Sheridan Police Department and Rocky Mountain Ambulance were also dispatched to the scene and no injuries were sustained. At this time the cause is still under investigation.
