Goose Valley Fire Department received a call of a structure fire at 72 Higby Road in Sheridan County at approximately 1 am Wednesday. Goose Valley Fire Chief Bob Williams says that Sheridan Fire-Rescue were called in to assist with the fire.

Williams explains that the exact cause of the fire has yet to be determined.

Williams said that he will know more into what caused the fire to the story and a half single family dwelling owned by Jon Quarterman Thursday.

In a unrelated matter, Sheridan Fire-Rescue responded to a structure fire call shortly after 10 am Wednesday morning at King's Saddlery in Downtown Sheridan. Sheridan Fire Marshal Brian Songer stated that there was no fire, just an over-heated light ballast that was emitting an unusual odor that lead to the call.
