The Final Selection For Sheridan College President is Nearing

The three candidates vying for the position of Sheridan College President are being interviewed today by the college Board of Trustees. Though the Trustees will make the final vote determining who becomes the next college president, community members, faculty, staff and students also had a chance to weigh in during an open forum Monday.

John Cech has worked in Montana higher education for over 20 years and is currently the Dean of Montana State University Billings College of Technology. What makes him best suited for the job, he

Next to address the roughly 100 people attending the forum was Dr. Kathleen Nelson. She is currently the president of a community college in Minnesota. Dr. Nelson says what makes her uniquely qualified are the over 30 years she's worked in highereducation

Dr. Paul Young is the Executive Dean of Gillette College and also the Vice President for Institutional Effectivenes at the Northern Wyoming Community College District. Having this connection with Sheridan College would allow him to “hit the ground running.” In addition, he
