Film crews visited the Lake Stop at Lake DeSmet Tuesday morning to shoot a scene from feature film produced by Paramount Pictures. Sheridan Media's Chris Foy has the story.

"Nebraska" is an upcoming comedy directed by Alexander Payne. Manager of the Wyoming Film Office, Michell Howard, explains what the film is all about.

Howard says this means a lot for Wyoming, considering an episode of Ghost Town Gold was recently filmed in Buffalo and the rising popularity of local author Craig Johnson's Longmire series has put Johnson County under the pop culture spotlight.

Executive Director of the Buffalo Chamber of Commerce, Angela Jarvis, says interest in the spot came about from a recent tour put on by the state.

Jarvis says there may be some other projects coming down the pike.

Director Alexander Payne's most recent film, "The Descendents," featured actor George Clooney and drew in more than $177 million in box office revenue.
