It’s certainly going to be very busy this weekend in Sheridan. Haunted houses, trick-or-treat events for kids, special shows at the WYO Theater, and the annual Family Fall Fun Fest are just a few of the Halloween festivities. Darrell White is a pastor with the Sheridan Wesleyan Church and he says families are the reason for the Fall Fest celebration.
This year marks the fourth annual Family Fall Fun Fest. It has grown from around 400 participants to over 1,200 last year, and they’re expecting 1,600 or more people this year. White says the church is not accepting donations for the event but will take anyone willing to volunteer some time during the festival.
Family Fall Fun Fest starts at 5:00 Saturday evening and will run until approximately 8:00 at the Sheridan Wesleyan Church on Brundage Lane just west of Big Horn Avenue.
