Wyoming Hospitality and Tourism leaders have gathered in Sheridan for the Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit. Wyoming Office of Tourism Director Diane Shober will speak at the two-day event later today with an update on how the state fared over this past summer tourism season.
Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association Executive Director Lynn Birleffi will also discuss how to work more efficiently with the state legislature.
Sheridan Travel and Tourism Director Penny Becker explains how hosting the summit benefits Sheridan.
A panel of legislators that include Senator Bruce Burns and Representatives Jon Botten and Mike Madden will be a part of the summit as well. And Representative Rosie Berger, Chair of the Joint Appropriations Committee, will also be addressing the group on legislative topics and recruitment of the film industry to the state.
The Fall Hospitality and Tourism Summit runs through Wednesday at the Sheridan Holiday Inn.
