The Third Thursday Street Festivals were amazingly popular this summer. The Downtown Sheridan Association Historic Downtown Retail Committee wants to capitalize on their success and has decided to host the first “Fall-A-Day” event next week in downtown Sheridan. Committee Co-chair Jeriann Jacobson explains how it works.
32 businesses have already signed on to be a part of the “Fall-A-Day” celebration. Committee Co-chair, Julie Davidson, says they really wanted an autumn event.
“Fall-A-Day” kicks off next Thursday at 4 in the afternoon. During the event, participating stores will have wish lists available. Customers can create a wish list so that friends and family can look at them and find desired gifts. It’s very similar to wedding registries.
This year’s “Fall-A-Day” also has one other special treat. The Craft Brothers will play a show in the Elk's Lodge starting at 7:30. Admission to the show is only $2.00.
