At the last meeting of the Sheridan County Fair Association Board of Trustees, they authorized facilities director Jamie Ringley to purchase a dumping trailer. He explains what it will be used for.
Ringley will be allowed to spend up to $9,000 on the trailer per the trustees approval, and the board encouraged him to get one of an appropriate size for the big jobs at the fairgrounds.
The fairgrounds recently replaced the shop roof at the facility, just in time for thunderstorm season and the torrential rain that comes with them.
Additionally, Ringley says they performed a temporary fix to increase the water pressure at the facility by adding an inch and a half of piping. He says he'll investigate more permanent water pressure improvements in the future.
