Sheridan County Public Works Director Rod Liesinger gave a presentation to the Sheridan County Fair Association Board of Trustees Thursday about providing a permanent fix to the water pressure problem at the Fairgrounds.
Liesinger said that estimates from EnTech Engineering were in the range of $460,000, but that the project could be done in two phases. Facilities Director Jamie Ringley says that they've got a temporary solution that will get them by for the time being.
The temporary fix worked for the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, but as Ringley points out, the water demand is much more during the fair.
The Board took no action on the water improvement project at this time, although they did agree to address it once the fair and subsequent events such as the Sheridan County Rodeo and Elks Youth Rodeo have concluded.
