(WYO NEWS SERVICE) – Wyoming's winter hasn't been as cruel as it can be, but cold days and snow storms can hit quickly. Pam Moen, spokesperson for Triple-A, says its always important to be prepared for winter travel in the Cowboy State.
The top two things to check on your vehicle? Batteries and tires.
She provides some help on putting together a winter survival kit.
As always, be sure to check winter travel conditions and forecast on Sheridanmedia.com before any trip.
Click on the road and travel link at the top left-hand corner of our homepage, the weather dropdown menu to check forecasts across the northern half of the state.
It's always good to have a cell phone charger for your car, and maybe even some non-perishable food items for your car on longer trips. Call 511 or 1-888-966-7623 for Wyoming winter road reports. Or visit wyoroad.info.
