WYOMING NEWS SERVICE – With new rules for natural gas projects set to be released by the Environmental Protection Agency this Tuesday, April 17, Wyoming may have to address air pollution issues, says Robin Cooley, attorney with Earthjustice.
It's been 25 years since the EPA looked at standards. Some say fracking causes adverse health effects via air pollution while the industry maintains they are minimal. Cooley has her side.
Earthjustice filed a lawsuit on behalf of Wild Earth Guardians and the San Juan Citizen's Alliance asking the EPA for new standards three years ago.
