U.S. Senator Mike Enzi was in Sheridan over the weekend, where he spoke at the Wyoming Association of Broadcasters Annual Convention. Senator Enzi says that he has some major issues with the healthcare bill passed earlier this year by Congress.
Enzi pointed out that new problems are cropping up everyday about the legislation, as more of the bill is being digested.
Enzi also spoke about Comprehensive Banking Reform, saying that an aspect of the bill titled Consumer Protection Bureau is something that troubles him. The legislation would require your bank to keep your records for three years, while regularly submitting that information to the Consumer Protection Bureau, who Enzi feels would have no oversight or direction.
U.S. Representative Cynthia Lummis also spoke at the WAB Convention over the weekend. Be sure to tune in tomorrow to hear what she had to say about the oil spill in the Gulf.
