The Wyoming Cancer Resource Services program is broken up into five different regions throughout the state. Region Two covers much of Northeast Wyoming, including Sheridan Johnson and Campbell counties. The program for Northeast Wyoming is fairly new, as it started in October of 2009.
This Friday the Free Clinic of Sheridan County has offered the use of their facility so that representatives with the Cancer Resource Services program can sign people up for free cancer screenings. Region Two Program Manager Samantha Kessler explains exactly what they'll be doing at the Free Clinic this week.
Kessler said that if anyone has any questions about the screenings or the eligibility requirements, that they should just stop by this Friday between 9 am and 1 pm. The Free Clinic of Sheridan County is located at 1428 West 5th Street, just across from Sheridan Memorial Hospital.
