Empower Wyoming, a group that offers boundary-setting training to kids of all ages, teaching them effective personal safety in situations with strangers and people they know, will be meeting tonight at the Buffalo Wesleyan Church at 6:30 p.m.
At tonight's meeting, the group will be preparing for its upcoming workshops with students at Clear Creek Middle School this spring.
If you're interested in serving as an ambassador with Empower Wyoming, director Francine Russell said people are welcome to attend a training for more information. Those who are accepted as ambassadors must submit to an FBI background check at their own expense. The background check costs $28.
People can contact Francine Russell with any questions or to RSVP for the meeting at 620-1511. An additional meeting will be held at the Sheridan College building in Johnson County on Friday, November 2 at noon.
