Sheridan Fire-Rescue, along with other local emergency service providers, will be conducting a “Last Call” drill at Sheridan High School on Friday, May 3, at 8:45 a.m. Firefight Chad Brutlag says this drill is designed to show high school students the possible outcome of a decision to drink and drive.

He says after the crash demonstration, emergency responders will arrive on scene, conduct sobriety tests, remove students from the wrecked vehicle, and retrieve the body of the student who did not survive.

As prom approaches, Brutlag says this drill is an attempt to deter students from participating in risky, unsafe behavior from drinking and driving to distracted driving.

Again, the "Last Call" drill will be taking place at Sheridan High School on May 3 at 8:45 a.m.
