Sometimes the best is saved for last and that's what the Elks Youth Rodeo has become, one of the largest non-affiliated youth rodeos in the nation. Rodeos can be expensive, but this rodeo is all about the kids. Chairman Bob Strauser...

For some, this might be the only rodeo they ever enter. Geared for ages 17 and under, the number of contestants is skyrocketing.

This rodeo is strictly run by volunteers, guaranteeing all entrance fees go back to the kids. Strauser says that's part of the draw, the prizes.

Contestants came from eleven states including Shawn Porch from South Dakota and his three kids entered in the rodeo. The draw for him was that horse trailer they were giving away, but a little touristing was also in the picture.

This is the 21st year for the Elks Youth Rodeo.
