The Wyoming Department of Education's Special Programs Division will host the sixth annual Education Leadership Symposium in Lander, June 25-28. The four-day event will take place at Lander Valley High School and kick off with two days of sessions on special education best practices.
Among the breakouts will be discussions on co-teaching; positive behavior interventions and strategies for severe classroom behaviors. An education law seminar will make up the final two days of the symposium as eight special education attorneys from across the country discuss hot topics in special education law. Jenny Krause with the Wyoming Department of Education discusses the symposium.
