There were no shortage of Easter Egg Hunts over the Easter Holiday Weekend as dozens of organizations took part, offering kids plenty of Easter Egg Hunting opportunities and the Sheridan Rec District was a big part. Over 2000 candy filled plastic eggs were scattered across the Rec District lawns and hundreds of kids awaited for the start. It's an annual event held for over 20 years and Richard Bridger, business manager for the Rec District has helped for over 20 years. Seven year-old Emma Vintuyl was there, basket in hand, waiting for the hunt to begin. Jill Langer was there with husband Clint and their two boys Andrew and Matthew. Five year-old Nevaeh Harbour got her share of goodies. There were Easter Egg Hunts beginning on Friday and continued through Sunday offering families lots of Easter Egg Hunting success.
