Easter weekend brings with it Easter egg hunts. Two, in particular, drew thousands of little people toting Easter baskets, all in hopes of gathering oodles of Easter eggs full of sweet treats.
The Sheridan Rec District held their “Easter Egg Hunt Eggs-Travanza” at Thorne Rider Park Saturday morning. Despite a cold northerly wind, Easter egg hunters turned up in droves. Organizer Brooke Olson says its all about community, but also some very hard work.

Over at Kendrick Park, Vertical Church was hosting their own Easter Egg Extravaganza. It was a full event with inflatables, face painting, bubble blowing and all sorts of activities to keep everyone busy and happy. Pastor James Gilbert explains their purpose.
