The development of the East 5th Street Corridor Plan is a project sponsored by th City of Sheridan, Sheridan County, and WYDOT. Tuesday night an interactive public workshop was held to get ideas on what the public and key stakeholders would like to see happen to the two mile corridor that runs from Main Street to the Wildcat road turn-off east of Interstate 90.
Consultants with AECOM used keypad polling as a means of receiving feedback and ideas from those in attendance on what improvements they'd like done to the corridor. Landscaping, better signage and additional sidewalks were a few of the issues that came to the forefront after the interactive exercise. Sheridan County Planner Mark Reid.
Reid said that the results of the polling will be used to help the consultants draw up some detailed design plans of the corridor that will be presented for review at a future public workshop.
