There are many events planned to celebrate Earth Day in Sheridan over the next few days.

The 41st anniversary of Earth Day is Friday, and there are no shortage of events in Sheridan to commemorate the event.

From 5:30 to 7 pm this evening the Wyoming Wilderness Association is holding the 5th annual Miniature Art and Music Auction at Davis Gallery.

Friday, the City of Sheridan is celebrating Earth Day from 1 to 6 pm in Kendrick Park with 38 interactive and educational booths to promote protection of our environment.

City of Sheridan Recycling Coordinator Shanon Short says that there will be plenty of activities geared toward the little ones.

Short said that in case of inclement weather, Earth Day festivities will be moved to the RENEW Bus Barn at 1969 South Sheridan Avenue.
