Crews with Sheridan Fire Rescue responded to a structure fire at 2005 Liberty Court in Sheridan just before 2 am Thursday morning. Sheridan Fire Marshal Brian Songer explains what happened.
Songer points out that fires caused by spontaneous combustion are more frequent than one might think.
The owners of the home were alerted to the fire by an unidentified neighbor. Songer stated that there were no injures sustained as a result of the fire.
