Hundreds of little plastic ducks are getting set to make their way down Big Goose Creek in Kendrick Park this Friday in Sheridan as part of the annual Kiwanis Duck Race. Local Kiwanis President Rick Levi says that water levels in the creek should be sufficient come time for the big race.
Ironically, last year, the duck race had to be moved to the Kendrick Pool slide at the last minute for safety issues, as the flow of the creek was deemed to fast for the race. Tickets for the Kiwanis Duck Race can be purchased from any Kiwanian prior to or at Friday morning's festivities in Downtown Sheridan. You can also purchase tickets just before the race, which will take place Friday at 1 o'clock in Kendrick Park.
