Many people faced with caring for an aging or sick loved one often wait too long to ask for assistance with care giving. Stella Montano, Director of Family Care Giver Services with the Sheridan Senior Center, says asking for help earlier rather than later, and taking advantage of many of the Senior Center's services, can actually make you not only a better caregiver, but also a better child, wife or husband:

Also, there is a "Breakfast with the Legislators" this Friday at the Senior Center. You will have a chance to meet Sheridan's State Representatives and Senators, learn more about the upcoming issues and let them know what's important to you. Breakfast is from 7:30-8:00, but the event lasts until 9:30.
