Did you know that if you lined up all your DNA, it would reach to the moon? That's just a tidbit of information kids attending the Science Saturday at Sheridan College could catalog for future use.

Sheridan College education students were on hand to teach elementary-age kids all about DNA. Sheridan College student Amber Miner is from Moorcroft and was showing the kids how to extract DNA.

Hopefully, down the road, DNA extraction will ring a bell. But it wasn't just the kids that were learning, the education students were gaining experience teaching.

In addition to DNA extraction, the kids made models and bracelets of DNA and even constructed DNA animals.
