After a couple of years without a press box and limited seating at the newly remodeled Big Horn High School football field, Sheridan County School District 1 accepted bids for a project that will add 750 seats at Big Horn and Tongue River facilities.

Additionally, both tracks are asphalt and the project will install a track surface at both locations.
Three different contractors will handle the projects: A bid of $195,050 from Tutt Construction of Montana for bleacher installation at both locations and construction of the press box at Big Horn was accepted by the district. The district accepted a bid of $66,000 for concrete work under the bleachers at Big Horn from Diamond Point Construction of Sheridan and a separate bid of $50,800 from NST Construction of Sheridan to handle the concrete work at Tongue River. Work begins this spring.
