At Tuesday's Sheridan School District 1 Board meeting, Trustees accepted the preliminary budget for the next fiscal year. Anticipated revenues for 2011-2012 amount to $14,511,217, and anticipated expenditures for 2011-2012 total $14,495,677. Superintendent Sue Belish comments.

Belish says, however, that the Board is very confident in the District's reserves, should they need to rely on those monies, and more importantly, no student programs needed to be cut.

Also addressed at Tuesday's meeting, Belish says.

Belish says that they hope that one of these days Tongue River Elementary School will get on the list of replacement schools since ironically, they actually have the land. On the other hand, she says.

The meeting adjourned at about 9:30 Tuesday night before Superintendent-to-be Marty Kobza and the trustees went into Executive Session. That was the best part, Belish quipped, in that she actually got to go home before everyone else.
