The Wyoming Department of Transportation closed the eastbound lanes of Interstate 90 towards Buffalo at around 6:30 p.m. Tuesday after a truck with a different kind of load caught fire near milepost 38. Public Information Specialist Ronda Holwell says the Interstate reopened at approximately 9 p.m.
The wrecker was able to pick up the truck with its full load of calves and started its trek to Buffalo.
But the story doesn't end there. Holwell explains.
Holwell says there were no reported injuries, either to the driver or to the cattle.
Though the Interstate's eastbound lanes are open, visibility remains limited on top of slick roads with drifted and blowing snow.
