The parking lot adjacent to US Bank in Sheridan will be the second location for Saturday's annual Trees for Trash event.

The annual Trees for Trash event is Saturday in Sheridan, and while most of the trash gets taken up to the City Landfill, there has always been a second, or alternative location for some of the smaller items. This year US Bank of Sheridan will be the host of that second location. US Bank Branch Manager Nanci Loseke says that it will take place in the parking lot, but not necessarily the lot that bank customers are accustomed to using.

Loseke explains why US Bank decided to get involved and become a sponsor of the annual clean up and green up event.

Trees for Trash will take place tomorrow from 9 am to 2 pm. Bigger loads can be taken to the City Landfill, while smaller loads can be dropped off at US Bank. Everyone that brings a load of trash to either location, will receive a free tree courtesy of Landon's Greenhouse and Nursery.
