The City of Sheridan Planning Commission hosted a public workshop Monday night where consultants with Russell + Mills Studios and AECOM took feedback on standards and guidelines revisions to the City's entryway corridor ordinance. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has more.
Most of the interactive meeting consisted of the consultants asking those in attendance what should be a standard and what should be a guideline. A standard is regulated, while a guideline is more of a recommendation for developers to follow. The City's current entryway corridor ordinance has no guidelines, just standards. Consultant Cameron Gloss with AECOM says that may change with the proposed revisions.
Gloss says that the next step is to put everything together and return to Sheridan to present the proposed changes to the development and design standards.
Gloss stated that they will most likely return to present the draft document in about a months time.
