Resident and nonresident hunters interested in being on the priority list for possible big game depredation prevention seasons in the Sheridan Region are reminded that they must apply directly for each species to the Wyoming Game and Fish Department Sheridan Regional office by 5 p.m. November 2nd.
All applications will be entered in a drawing and receive a priority ranking. The priority list will remain in effect for a twelve month period. Hunters will be called in order of their priority ranking if and when harvest is needed and a depredation prevention season is set.
There is no fee to apply. Hunters that are called will pay the regular license fee when they report to the hunting site. Hunters should take note that late season depredation hunts are dependent on weather conditions, damage situations, and animal distribution. There is no guarantee any depredation seasons will be set.
For applications and more information call the G&F Sheridan Regional Office at (307) 672-7418. Applications are also available at the G&F web site. http://gf.state.wy.us/downloads/...
