A media release issued Friday by the Wyoming Department of Education shows that using the established United States Department of Education methodology, the Wyoming Department of Education’s Federal Four-Year Adjusted Cohort Graduation Rate, or “on-time” graduation rate, is 79.74% for the class of 2011, the 2009-2010 rate was 80.42%. Wyoming graduated 52 more students than last year.

All three School Districts within Sheridan County achieved at least an 80 percent graduation rate or higher. School District Two's rate was 82.8 percent; District One graduated 88 percent and District Three's rate was 85.7 percent. While all three School Districts had a graduation rate higher than 80 percent, all three schools did have a lower rate than the previous year.
