Sheridan resident Eddie Delk was to have had his Preliminary Hearing in Sheridan County Circuit Court Thursday afternoon, but he opted to waive his right to a speedy Prelim.
Delk is charged with one count of Aggravated Assault and Battery for inflicting a non-fatal gunshot wound on Kenny Rosalez, also of Sheridan, during an altercation March 19th at the home of Rosalez' former in-laws. Delk had his Initial Appearance on March 21st; Judge John Sampson had set a $50,000 cash bond on him.
In another case, 39-year-old Cammie Paumer of Clearmont was also to have had her Preliminary Hearing before Judge Sampson on Thursday, but she, too, waived her right to a speedy Prelim.
Paumer, who is accused of allegedly stealing money from the Hand in Hand Center for whom she'd worked as a bookkeeper, has been charged with a total of nine counts: six felonies that include three Forgery charges; two charges of Larceny; and one charge of Obtaining Property Under False Pretenses.
The three misdemeanors include two counts of Unlawful Use of a Credit Card and one count of Larceny under $1,000. The three misdemeanors allegedly occurred while Paumer worked as an Administrative Assistant for A&B Builders in Sheridan.
At her Initial Appearance on March 14th, Circuit Court Judge John Sampson had set a $20,000 cash only bond for Paumer.
Preliminary Hearings will be re-scheduled for both Delk and Paumer in the near future.
