The Dayton Town Council held their first meeting of August Monday night. Sheridan Media's Ron Richter was there and has the story.
At their last meeting in July, the Council awarded a bid to Excel Bridge from California, to supply the materials needed for the town to construct a bridge over Tongue River for easier access to the town's water treatment plant.
After a review by the engineer, the Council officially approved the bid of nearly $53,000. Council President Norm Anderson.
The Council also recognized Donna and Leonard Bull of 617 Broadway as the yard of the month recipients for July.
