The Town of Dayton was in business last night, since they took their July 4th holiday last Friday.
Council opened bids for the asphalting project on the Tongue River Valley Community Center parking lot. Mayor Bob Wood tells us who bid.
Mayor Wood says Council opted to hand over the bids to the Town's engineer for review. He explains.
Because of the time crunch on the project, the information was written into the minutes, so that once an official decision is made, the bid can be awarded prior to the Council's next meeting.
In other business, Council renewed their annual contract in the amount of $18,000 a year with the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office for 2010-2011.
And the Yard of the Month was awarded to Rick and Carolyn Dowdy.
