The Dayton Town Council clicked through their agenda in short order last night. The biggest item on the agenda, Mayor Bob Wood tells us, was reviewing and approving updates to the Dayton Fire District Agreement.
He says that they also received a season-ending report from Erin Kilbride, who not only is director of the Tongue River Valley Community Center, but she also is in charge of the Art Badgett Pool. And while the pool never contributes to the revenue stream for the Town, Mayor Wood says it was still a great swimming season.
Three awards were given for impressive properties last night: “Yard of the Month” for August went to Mr. & Mrs. Billy White at 510 E. 4th Street; the award for “Most Improved Residential Property” for 2010 went to Mr. & Mrs. Doug Lewis at 318 W. 4th Street; and the award for “Most Improved Commercial Property” for 2010 went to Donna Schoenfelder at 407 Main Street.
