In a media release from The Bill of Rights Institute, they have announced that the Daniels Fund of Colorado will provide a full scholarship to a Wyoming high school student to attend the Constitutional Academy, the nation's premier program for high school students to study the United States Constitution.
Rachel Gillespie is with the institute, which is headquartered in Arlington, Virginia. She describes the opportunity the scholarship recipient will experience over a six-week period – five online and one in the nation's capital.
The scholarship will cover all the expenses for the recipient. The Daniels Fund provides grants and scholarships in Colorado, New Mexico, Utah and Wyoming. Gillespie says the Daniels Fund wanted to offer an opportunity for one student from each of those states.
As for the Bill of Rights Institute, Gillespie tells us.
Along with the Constitutional Academy, the Bill of Rights Institute also sponsors a “Being an American” essay contest.
