The Sheridan College Center for a Vital Community is again offering training titled after the book of their pet project, "Bridges Out of Poverty." Amy Albrecht, Director, says more than 65 people attended the training last time, and it really made an impression on them.

Albrecht said the class discusses different challenges, mindsets, and cultural norms associated with different levels of socioeconomic status. The subject matter discussed affects all people, regardless of where they fall along that spectrum.

The CVC "Bridges Out of Poverty" training session will be Friday at the YMCA from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
