Former Disney Corporation Service Training Director, Doug Lipp, will be the Keynote Speaker at the annual Rapid City Convention & Visitors Bureau Hospitality and Tourism Industry Training Seminar on May 16th.

Disney magic is coming to Rapid City in May. While people won't be seeing a particular red-trousered mouse or blue-shirted duck, people in the hospitality industry will be treated to a presentation by Doug Lipp, a renowned leader in customer service training.

Michelle Thomson is the Tourism Director for the Rapid City Convention & Visitors Bureau. She comments on the Keynote Speaker.

In a time when finding employees with good customer relations and work ethic can be challenging, Thomson says that attending this seminar is a way to improve upon the service industry.

Lipp's presentation is called “Creating Service Magic: The Secret to Disney’s Success … and Yours!” As for what he will be discussing during his presentation, Thomson says.

Lipp's sessions will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Monday, May 16th at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. For only $15, participants will hear Lipp's 90-minute speech and enjoy the annual Visitor Industry Luncheon. At the luncheon, a regional marketing and advertising agency, Lawrence & Schiller, will share a presentation on social and mobile marketing techniques.
