Since 1965, Up with People has provided young people from around the world a unique opportunity to travel abroad and see the world from a different perspective. The group has been in Sheridan this week volunteering with a number of different agencies. Promotion Representative for Up with People Misael Oliver says that the students have been keeping busy.

The group, which consists of 100 students from 19 different countries, held a culture fair in Kendrick Park Thursday afternoon to give young and old alike the chance to learn a little about each country.

Up with People will have two musical performances both Friday and Saturday nights in Sheridan.

Showtime both nights will be at 7 pm at the Sheridan Junior High School Early Auditorium. Tickets are $15 for adults and $10 for students, seniors and children. They can be purchased at the door prior to each show.
