Friday and Saturday were days set aside for the little guys. It was the annual Cub Scout Day Camp for boys from first through fifth grade.

Tying knots, making flags, and addressing safety issues are all part of the Cub Scout program, but the big hits at this camp were the archery and BB gun shooting.

District Commissioner Elaine Merkey adds that there's more to the program.

Merkey explains what the little guys learn in Cub Scouts.

Hunter Andersen participated in the camp that sits along the banks of the Big Goose.

Cub Scouting was founded by Robert Baden-Powell in 1916.
