Search and rescue crews have pulled three groups of snowbound hunters from the Bighorn Mountains.
One of the groups of hunters had called for help on Wednesday after snow stranded them in the Kerns Wildlife Habitat Management Area, about 12 miles northwest of Parkman in the Bighorns.
The call prompted 13 members of the members of Sheridan County Search and Rescue, seven from Johnson County Search and Rescue and a Wyoming Game and Fish Game warden, to head into the woods. On their way into the camp, the crews encountered two other parties who had not called for help but who also were trapped by the snow.
The report was released by The Associated Press.
