Surface Easement Agreements have been executed on the Hitching Post and Margo's Pottery buildings and Buffalo's City Council has approved preliminary work to begin on the mural project in Crazy Woman Square.

City Planner Zach Montgomery approached the council at their meeting Tuesday evening for their approval to allow Bighorn Stucco to begin resurfacing the side of the Hitching Post building to make it a paintable surface for the artists to put the mural on.

He explains why this project is a seperate contract from the remainder of the Crazy Woman Square project.

Three other companies were contacted to perform the work, but Bighorn Stucco was the only one interested in the $3,500 project, which is scheduled to be completed by next Wednesday.
