Crash Knocks Out Power In Buffalo

Nearly 3,700 customers in Buffalo went without power early Tuesday morning for a little more than an hour after a truck ran into a power pole.

We don't have any details, yet, on the crash, but have put in a call to the Buffalo Police Department.

A spokeswoman for the Rocky Mountain Power company did provide details on the outage, late Tuesday. At that time, Margaret Oler said the pole needed to be replaced, before power could be
restored.

She went on to say that while crews were repairing the pole and connections, some additional damage was found. So, any remaining customers still without power were scheduled to have their lights back on by early last night.
