This Saturday, December 15, the Cowboy Carousel Committee will be having their first event to help open their new Carousel Center, located in the old, Historic Beutler Building.
A book signing event will be held at the facility that will feature many regional authors either in attendance or their pre-signed books available for purchase.
Craig Johnson, Gene Gagliano, David Ramtvedt, Steve Rzasa, Joe Tiller, John Nesbitt, Louise Anderson, Dave Wooten, Mary Tass and John Davis are all scheduled to appear, and signed books by Raymond Plank and Erik Molver will be available.
The book signing will run from 4pm to 7pm with wine, cheese and soft drinks served. There will be tours of the facility and a chance to see the future of the Carousel Center and the community education programs and other ideas that are in the planning stages. And plan on shopping for some great Christmas gifts while you are there.
The event is a fundraiser for the committee to help make their plans for the Cowboy Carousel to be housed at the center in the future a reality, but committee member Arnette Tiller explains it is much more than a fundraiser.
The Carousel Center is located at 59 N. Lobban Street in Buffalo, and the community is welcome to attend.
