At the Sheridan County Commission meeting Tuesday morning, Commissioners officially approved handing the management of the Kleenburn Recreation Area and the 3-Poles Recreation Area over to the Sheridan County Park and Recreation Board.
The former is effective retroactive to November 17, 2009 and the latter is effective retroactive to May 5, 2009.
At the Sheridan County Parks and Recreation Board meeting immediately following the Commission meeting, the board officially accepted management of those two areas.
In other business, the board approved $19,130.95 for the improvements that were made to the Kleenburn Recreation Area. Business Manager Renee Obermueller reported that the money comes from a fixed cost in the Parks and Recreation Beautification line item on the budget.
